Fetter Health Care Network hosts additional COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Berkeley County, Feb. 9 and 11

Fetter Health Care Network (Fetter) announced it will be hosting additional COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Berkeley County on Feb. 9 and 11 according to the latest distribution phase updates. Vaccinations will be administered on a first-come, first-serve basis and no appointment is required. Vaccinations will be distributed in accordance with current SC DHEC guidelines, now including persons age 65 or older, health care workers, parents of medically fragile or disabled children, long-term care facility residents and staff and critical essential workers (defined by DHEC guidelines).

“We are thankful to continue hosting our mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics in partnership with our generous community members,” said Aretha R. Powers (Jones), CEO of Fetter. “We are honored to partner with SC DHEC and other local partners to serve the Lowcountry and push back against the coronavirus. Our team truly has shown what it means to be a community health center through their service over past year and we will continue doing our part in caring for our friends and neighbors in our surrounding communities.”

Fetter’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be hosted according to the schedule below:

COVID-19 vaccines will be administered on a first-come, first-serve basis at the clinic site. Vaccinations will only be provided to persons who meet the distribution criteria, as designated by SC DHEC.

Persons who qualify to receive the vaccine should arrive at the clinic and will be asked to complete on-site registration. Those arriving for vaccination should bring their insurance cards and verification in order to complete registration:

  • Personal photo identification verifying age
  • Health care worker (employee badge, picture of professional license, personalized letter from employer)
  • Parent of medically fragile or disabled child (signed attestation form from provider of child)

Fetter Health Care Network to host COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Berkeley County

Fetter Health Care Network (Fetter) announced it will be hosting its next COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Berkeley county. Vaccinations will be distributed in accordance with SC DHEC Phase 1a guidelines. Phase 1a includes distribution of the vaccine to health care workers, persons age 70 or older, mission-critical government employees, long-term care facility residents and staff, and parents of medically fragile children.

“We are pleased to announce our next COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Berkeley county this coming week,” said Aretha R. Powers (Jones), CEO of Fetter. “Over the past month, we have had the opportunity to distribute more than 1,100 vaccinations throughout the Lowcountry. We are honored to continue serving our community through even more vaccination clinics in the future.”

Fetter Health Care Network launches another vaccination clinic for SC DHEC Phase 1 distribution

Fetter Health Care Network (Fetter) announced it will continue hosting COVID-19 vaccination clinics to distribute the vaccine in accordance with SC DHEC guidelines for Phase 1 distribution on Wednesday, Jan. 27. According to SC DHEC, Phase 1 includes distribution of the vaccine to healthcare workers, persons over the age of 70, mission-critical government employees, long-term care facility residents and staff, and parents who are home caregivers of a child who is medically fragile or complex or severely disabled.

The clinic will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Royal Missionary Baptist (4761 Luella Ave., North Charleston, SC 29405). Fetter plans to give vaccines on a first-come, first-serve basis at the clinic site. Vaccinations will only be provided to persons who meet the Phase 1 criteria, as designated by SC DHEC.

Persons who qualify to receive the vaccine should complete an on-site registration upon arrival. Those anticipating a vaccine should bring personal identification in order to verify they are 70 years of age or older, or proof of employment, as well as, insurance cards, if applicable.
