Charleston, SC – Fetter Health Care Network, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving communities throughout the Lowcountry, will participate in National Health Center Week from Monday, August 5 to Friday, August 9. Each day will hold a special celebration to honor themes like Children’s Health Day, Patient Appreciation Day and more.
This annual week-long event is hosted by the National Association of Community Health Centers and the Health Center Advocacy Network and seeks to raise awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers. This year’s theme for National Health Center Week is America’s Health Centers: Rooted in Communities.
“We’re proud to celebrate National Health Center Week with events throughout our communities and health centers,” said Aretha R. Jones, CEO of Fetter Health Care Network. “This week, we will reflect on where we’ve been, where we are and where we’re going.”
The schedule of events for Fetter Health Care Network’s celebration includes:

● Tuesday, August 6 – Children’s Health Day
● Wednesday, August 7 – Community Partners Appreciation Day
● Thursday, August 8 – Health and Wellness Day
● Friday, August 9 – Health Center Staff Appreciation Day
Fetter will also be joined by community partners and representatives throughout the week including Representative David Mack at its downtown Charleston Health Center (51 Nassau Street, Charleston, SC) on Monday, August 5 at 1 p.m. and Representative Joe Jefferson at its Elijah Wright Health Center (1681 Old Hwy 6, Cross, SC) on Wednesday, August 7 at 12:30 p.m.
