Aretha R. Polite-Powers, DHA, MPH, MALPS
Chief Executive Officer
Our chief executive officer brings more than 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit, community-based health and human service organizations. She is responsible for a team of more than 145 professionals and oversees the operation of more than 20 health care sites, including primary care, dental, behavioral health, school-based, migrant and homeless programs dispersed among four counties.

NATASHA CHATMAN, MED
Chief Operations Officer
Our chief operations and compliance officer contributes more than 10 years of program planning, development and implementation. She is responsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of health care delivery, including scheduling, coordination, logistics, staffing patterns, supervision, training and process improvement efforts. She also works to assess, identify and mitigate potential risks and ensure agency compliance.

MICHAEL J. SAVINO, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Our chief financial officer has more than 30 years of financial expertise, including several prominent roles as the leader of finance of large hospital systems, manufacturing and nonprofits. He is responsible for the management of financial risks of the organization through oversight of all financial plans, record keeping and financial analysis.

SHARVETTE J. SLAUGHTER, MD, FAAP
Chief Medical Officer
Our chief medical officer is a board-certified pediatrician who has worked with the Fetter Health Care Network for the past 16 years. She is primarily responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the medical, dental and pharmacy programs to include supervision of the providers, pharmacist and dental team. She is instrumental in the design and implementation of new projects and innovations for the improvement of patient care.

DANA LAFORTE, APRN, NP
Chief Nursing and Quality Officer
Our chief nursing and quality officer, Ms. LaForte, brings more than 14 years of healthcare experience to Fetter Health Care Network. As chief nursing and quality officer, she manages and coordinates all clinical operations, programs and grant initiatives for the organization and oversees Fetter’s continuous improvement by ensuring mission, vision, value and goal alignment across all initiatives. Prior to this leadership role, Ms. LaForte supported Fetter patients as a family nurse practitioner at our Cross, SC, location.
