Our Johns Island Health Center exists to serve the people of our Lowcountry sea island communities. This center’s services include Primary Care (Adult & Pediatric), Diagnostic Labs, Women’s Health, Immunizations, Family Planning, Mobile Dental Care, Translation, Specialist Referrals and Behavioral Health. This center also offers Pharmacy Delivery services and has a team dedicated to Case Management and Eligibility Assistance for our patients. This center is conveniently located off in the heart of Johns Island off of Maybank Highway.

This health center receives HHS funding and has federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

Appointments & Walk-Ins: We require patients to call, come into the office or use their Patient Portal account to schedule an appointment. If patients are unable to keep their appointments, it is encouraged that they call the center 24 hours in advance. Bring all medications (pill bottles), immunization records and insurance cards to every visit.

IMPORTANT: For after-hours medical emergencies, please call 911. For other after-hours medical concerns or issues, please call 843-722-4112 or any local satellite locations. Calls are routed to an on-call provider.

– From West Ashley by way of Main Rd.: Head south on Main Rd./State Rd. S-10-20. Continue on Main Rd./State Rd. S-10-20 past St. John’s High School (on the right). Turn right onto Maybank Hwy. Our Johns Island Health Center will be ahead on the left.

– From Wadmalaw Island by way of Maybank Hwy.: Head northeast on SC-700 E/Maybank Hwy. Pass Johns Island Church and St. John’s Parish Church (on the right). Our Johns Island Health Center will be ahead on the right.

– From James Island by way of Maybank Hwy.: Head southwest on Maybank Hwy./SC-700 W. Continue on Maybank Hwy./SC-700 W and pass Main Rd. Our Johns Island Health Center will be ahead on the left.
