Dorchester Family Health Center

Fetter’s Dorchester Family Health Center opened to serve the Summerville and surrounding community in 2022. This center includes the services listed below and features a full-service on-site pharmacy. We also have a team dedicated to case management and eligibility assistance for our patients.

We require patients to call, come into the office or use their Patient Portal account to schedule an appointment. If patients are unable to keep their appointments, it is encouraged that they call the center 24 hours in advance. Bring all medications (pill bottles), immunization records and insurance cards to every visit.

IMPORTANT: For after-hours medical emergencies, please call 911. For other after-hours medical concerns or issues, please call 843-261-2600 or any local satellite locations. Calls are routed to an on-call provider.

Directions

– If coming from Charleston/North Charleston by way of I-26 W: Head northwest on I-26 W. Take exit 199A-Exit 199A to merge onto US-17 ALT S/N Main St. Merge onto US-17 ALT S/N Main St. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto SC-165/Berlin G Myers Pkwy for 2.4 miles. Turn right on E Richland St. Turn left onto S Main St. Continue onto US-17 ALT S/Boone Hill Rd. 0.9 miles. Take a slight right onto County Rd S-18-35/Tupperway Dr 0.7 miles. Turn right onto County Rd S-18-22/Orangeburg Rd. Turn left into the parking lot.

– If coming from West Ashley by way of SC-61: Head north on SC-61 N/Ashley River Rd. Turn right onto State Hwy 165, continue 0.3 miles. Turn right at the 1st cross street onto SC-165 N, continue 1.3 miles. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto SC-642 W for 0.3 miles. Continue straight to stay on SC-642 W for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto County Rd S-18-22/Orangeburg Rd and continue 2.3 miles. Turn left into the parking lot and you have reached your destination.

– If coming from Ridgeville by way of US-78 and I-26 E: Head southeast on N Railroad Ave toward N Main St. Turn left at the 1st cross street onto N Main street, continue 0.3 miles. N Main St. turns right and becomes School St, continue 1.6 miles. Turn right onto US-78 E and drive 3.1 miles. Turn right onto County Rd S-18-22/Orangeburg Rd and continue 3.6 miles. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on County Rd S-18-22/Orangeburg Rd for 1.7 miles. Turn right into your destination.
