Fetter Health Care Network to host COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Charleston County, week of April 19

Fetter Health Care Network (Fetter) has announced the latest updates to its COVID-19 vaccination clinic schedule in Charleston County for the week of April 19. Only individuals 18 years and older are eligible to receive these vaccinations based on the Emergency Use Authorization.

“Our Fetter Health Care Network team is continuing to do all that we can to provide easy access to the COVID-19 vaccine for our communities,” said Aretha R. Powers, DHA, CEO of Fetter. “As a community health center, we are passionate about serving our friends and neighbors throughout the Lowcountry.”

Currently, Fetter is administering the first dose of the Moderna vaccine at the clinics listed below. All clinics that were previously slated to administer the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will now distribute the Moderna vaccine.

Individuals who qualify should arrive at the clinic and complete an on-site registration. Please bring a state issued photo identification and insurance card, if applicable. Fetter serves the insured and uninsured. Individuals are asked to anticipate a moderate wait time, as previous clinics have been well attended. It is also encouraged that recipients refrain from arriving prior to 30 minutes before the start of the vaccine clinics.

Fetter Health Care Network and SC DHEC to host free COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at Trident Technical College

Fetter Health Care Network (Fetter) announced it will partner with SC DHEC to host a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Trident Technical College (7000 Rivers Ave. Building 920, North Charleston, SC 29406) on Tuesday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The vaccination event will be open to the public and will administer the first dose of the Moderna vaccine. Only individuals 18 years and older are eligible to receive the Moderna vaccine per the Emergency Authorization Act.

Individuals planning to attend the vaccine clinic can register in advance by scheduling an appointment at scdhec.gov/vaxlocator or by calling 1-866-365-8110. On-site registration will also be available through Fetter Health Care Network. While appointments are available, an appointment is not required in order for individuals to receive a vaccine. If available, individuals are asked to bring a valid picture I.D. and insurance, Medicaid or Medicare card. Those with and without insurance will be served.

Fetter Health Care Network announces additional COVID-19 vaccination clinics

As of March 30, Fetter Health Care Network (Fetter) has announced additional COVID-19 vaccination clinics throughout the Lowcountry. Vaccines will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis and no appointment is needed. Fetter offers the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine as well as the Moderna vaccine. Only individuals 18 years and older are eligible to receive these vaccinations based on the Emergency Use Authorization.
