Cilantay Wilson, FNP-C

Family Medicine, Nurse Practitioner

Mrs. Wilson has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 9 years, with a strong passion for empowering patients to take an active role in their health care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University.

Lakosha Wade, MSN-AGNP

Provider

Lakosha Wade is a dedicated Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in hospice and palliative care. With over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse and now practicing at an advanced level, she is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care across the lifespan, with a special focus on chronic disease management, preventive care, and improving quality of life.

Lakosha earned her nursing degrees from Trident Technical College and her Master’s degree from Walden University, where she developed a strong clinical foundation and commitment to evidence-based practice. She also completed the SCAHEC Program and is excited to expand her impact in primary care and community health.

Throughout her career, Lakosha has been known for her ability to connect deeply with patients and families, especially during vulnerable stages of life. Her work in hospice has shaped her holistic approach—addressing not only physical health but also emotional, spiritual, and social well-being.

In addition to her clinical work, Lakosha is actively involved in community outreach and health education. She has organized and participated in health fairs, partnered with local organizations such as Shifa Clinic and community churches, and remains committed to addressing health disparities in underserved populations.

Leocadie Mougang, RN, BSN, APRN, MSN

Family Medicine, Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Mougang is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over three years of advanced practice experience and more than a decade of bedside nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Carolina State University and her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Family Nurse Practice, from Walden University. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Her clinical approach is rooted in prevention, patient education, and whole-person care, with a strong emphasis on lifestyle modifications. She works closely with patients to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension while promoting routine screenings and long-term wellness.

Committed to advancing health equity, she strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their health.

Lokendra Thakur

Provider

Dr. Lokendra K. Thakur brings more than 20 years of experience in hospital and outpatient medicine. He began his career as a primary care physician in Nepal and later worked in the Caribbean before continuing advanced medical training at Montefiore Medical Center and Mayo Clinic.

Prior to joining Fetter Health Care Network, Dr. Thakur served as Director of Critical Care at Trident Medical Center. He later transitioned back to advanced primary care with a mission to help people stay healthy within their communities through preventive, relationship-based care.

His broad clinical background and innovative approach continue to strengthen patient care and quality initiatives at Fetter Clinic

Pooja Paunikar, MD, MPH

Medical Doctor

Dr. Paunikar earned her Masters of Public Health from Dartmouth Medical School and her Doctor of Medicine degree from The American University of Antigua. Alongside her role with the Fetter team, she serves as Program Director of Family Medicine at HCA Trident/Summerville Medical Center.

Roynell Frank, MSN, FNP-C

Family Medicine, Nurse Practitioner

Roynell Frank is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, bringing over 15 years of comprehensive clinical experience in emergency medicine, primary care, and medical-surgical nursing. Ms. Frank earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization from Maryville University in 2021 and obtained her Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in February 2025. Her clinical expertise encompasses the management of acute and chronic conditions, preventive health services, and comprehensive patient education. Since joining Fetter Health Care in August 2025, she has been dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan.

Sequoia Askew, PA-C

Physician Associate, Family Medicine

Sequoia Askew, PA-C, is a compassionate Physician Associate dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to underserved communities. She brings experience from an integrated family medicine clinic, where she managed a high-volume patient panel, conducting comprehensive evaluations and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

Her clinical approach emphasizes prevention, education, and whole-person care. She works closely with patients to manage conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, while promoting routine screenings and long-term wellness.

Wakesha J. Evans, PA-C

Family Medicine, Physician Assistant

Ms. Evans serves as a physician assistant for Fetter Health Care Network. She attended Claflin University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. Ms. Evans has received both her Masters in Biomedical Science and Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to joining Fetter, she provided care in internal medicine and family practice offices for 14 years. She is also a licensed fitness instructor and is heavily involved in the community through her church and a variety of community organizations.
