Lakosha Wade is a dedicated Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in hospice and palliative care. With over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse and now practicing at an advanced level, she is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care across the lifespan, with a special focus on chronic disease management, preventive care, and improving quality of life.
Lakosha earned her nursing degrees from Trident Technical College and her Master’s degree from Walden University, where she developed a strong clinical foundation and commitment to evidence-based practice. She also completed the SCAHEC Program and is excited to expand her impact in primary care and community health.
Throughout her career, Lakosha has been known for her ability to connect deeply with patients and families, especially during vulnerable stages of life. Her work in hospice has shaped her holistic approach—addressing not only physical health but also emotional, spiritual, and social well-being.
In addition to her clinical work, Lakosha is actively involved in community outreach and health education. She has organized and participated in health fairs, partnered with local organizations such as Shifa Clinic and community churches, and remains committed to addressing health disparities in underserved populations.
